About My Pigs

I’ve been working really hard raising two pigs.  Dozer is a duroc barrow and Willow is a spotted gilt.  I’ve been raising them since March, feeding and walking them twice a day to keep them healthy.  They’ve been fed high quality food, received frequent baths and brushing, They both weighed approximately 80 pounds when I got them.  Dozer is expected to weigh approximately 280 pounds, and Willow is expected to weigh approximately 210 pounds.  Dozer has a sweet temperament and  huge appetite, often gaining over 3 pounds a day!  Willow is spunky and enjoys the mud.  They’ve not only taught me a lot about proper record keeping and budgeting, but also responsibility,  work ethic, compassion, independence, confidence, and resilience.
